4 Day Datina & Kablak Trekking Tour

Day 1

Leaving Dili in the morning we travel south upwards into the mountains to Dare, a place of rare beauty on the brink of Dili.

Continuing through coffee plantations to Becilau, then surrounded by white eucalyptus until the historic and picturesque village of Aileu, viewing its most symbolic spots, especially the monuments which grant life to this village's history.

Arriving in Maubisse, we drive to the Pousada for lunch. After tasting a smelt cup of Timorese coffee, continue on to Same by the windy & cold road at the Flecha way with astonishing views, breathtaking cliffs and deep valleys.

A few miles before Same, with 2.5 hours trekking we reach Datina, a small remote village in Mount Kablak where we have dinner with the locals and stay either in a local house or in tents.

Day 2

This morning, we have 4 to 5 hours of hard trekking, firstly to Rotutu then onto Same for lunch.This afternoon is spent relaxing and discovering the beauties in the town of Same.
