The Kimberley

The Kimberley is diverse, from the laid back ambience of cosmopolitan Broome, to the fascinating indigenous culture of the Dampier Archipelago and the outback adventure of Kununurra.  Explore the seemingly endless Gibb River Road, the sheer majesty of the Mitchell Plateau or the vast untouched beauty of the Kimberley coastline. Whatever style of holiday you are chasing; a truly unique experience awaits you.

The eastern gateway, Kununurra offers some of the best adventures in the Kimberley.  Set on the picturesque Lake Kununurra, it’s the perfect base to explore the rugged Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungle Range), Mitchell Plateau, the Ord River and or Argyle Diamond Mine.

Wyndham as the last frontier is a small and relatively undiscovered town which typifies the character and spirit of the Kimberley. The most northerly town in Western Australia, Wyndham is situated on the southern tidal waters of the Cambridge Gulf where the confluence of the King, Pentecost, Durack, Forrest and Ord Rivers meet.

Spanning 660 kilometres between Derby and Kununurra, travelling the Gibb River Roadone is the last truly outback experience. 4WD vehicles now allow easy access to this remote area, home to wildlife sanctuaries, ancient landforms, deep gorges and fresh water holes.

Group & Private tours to all areas of the Kimberley Region are available. Email our friendly office staff for a quote.
