4 Day Ramelau & Same Tour

Day 1

Leaving Dili in the morning we travel south into the mountains to Dare, a place of natural beauty on the brink of Dili; continuing through coffee plantations to Becilau, surrounded by white eucalyptus until we arrive at the picturesque village of Aileu where we pay homage to some of the monuments that grant this village its history.

Arriving in Maubisse, we have lunch at the Pousada, where we also taste the local Timorese coffee, before continuing on to Hato-Builico where we either camp overnight in tents or staying in a local guest house.

Day 2

An early start this morning, with our guides we climb the summit of Mount Ramelau, where we view the sunrise coming over the peaks of the mountain range before returning to "base camp" for breakfast.

Proceeding on to Same by the windy and cold road along the Flecha Way with astonishing views, breathtaking cliffs and deep valleys. This afternoon is spent relaxing and discovering the beauties in the town of Same.
